Cycling Club Bahamas. - Upcoming events:

Saturday - leaving 6am sharp from Harbour Bay Shopping Centre in front of First Caribbean Bank, 30 miles headed west. Leaving P/I Bridges optional at the end. The pace will range from 18–20+mph, two-hour duration.

Sunday - leaving 6am sharp from Harbour Bay Shopping Centre in front of First Caribbean Bank, 40-50 miles headed east. P/I Bridges optional at the end. The pace will range from 18–20+mph, 3-3.5 hour duration.

Monday - Discovery Day Holiday, leaving 6am sharp from Harbour Bay Shopping Centre in front of First Caribbean Bank, 30 miles headed West. P/I Bridges optional at the end. The pace will range from 18–20+mph, two-hour duration.

October 9-12 - Run For Pompey Marathon, Exuma, www.runforpompey.com.

October 16 - Pirate Republic, with the help of community partners including Buccaneers Rugby Football Club, Bahamia Rental, Spectrum Light & Sound, and Antonius Roberts Studio and Gallery at Hillside House, is hosting a benefit concert to help rebuild Family Islands. Visage Band Bahamas and Tebby Burrows will be performing, with more acts to be announced soon! Tickets $50, with one drink included, available on the night. Morning rides west - Wednesday and Friday, 4:45am, Cable Beach Police Station, West Bay Street, 20-mile ride route headed east to Montague & return. 1-hour duration. Contact Shantell the day before to confirm your attendance: shorelinecargo@gmail.com

Afternoon rides west - Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:30pm, parking lot next to Lyford Cay Gas Station. 18 or 24 miles. Pace from 20+mph, intermediate 18-22mph see Spyder.

Morning ride east - Tuesdays & Thursdays, 5am , start/end Seagrapes Shopping Centre (under the big sign), East Prince Charles Drive: 1-1.5 hours. Prince Charles Dr-Eastern Road-Shirley St-Church St-East Bay-Eastern Road-Prince Charles.

Kiwanis Club. - Thursday, October 1, 2015 was Kiwanis Aktion Club of Fort Montagu Changing of the Guard. James Connolly did a great job as our 2013-2015 Club President and Kevin Archer took over as President 2015-2016.

The Kiwanis Club of Cable Beach Changing of the Guard saw Tareco Laing passing the gravel and congratulating Christopher Rahming, the new President 2015-2016.

Saint James Anglican Church Men. - On Monday, October 12, all roads will lead to Adelaide Village where the Anglican Church Men of Saint James Parish will be hosting its 9th Annual Father RF Anthony Roberts’ King of the Grill Fest. The fest will be held from noon until 6pm on the church’s grounds. The day will end with a Junkanoo Rush Out.
