Freeport driver, 46, dies after losing control of his car

POLICE in Grand Bahama are investigating a traffic accident that has left a 46-year-old Freeport man dead after he apparently lost control of his vehicle.

Inspector Terecita Pinder said that shortly after 5pm on Saturday an accident occurred on West Grand Bahama Highway involving a black 2001 Ford Explorer driven by the deceased. The driver, who was not carrying passengers, apparently lost control of his vehicle which ended in nearby bushes.

He was ejected from his car in the incident and received injuries, to which he succumbed at the scene.

The vehicle was extensively damaged.
