I AM not going to vent my frustration with my five loses form Week 5. I am not going to mention how Seattle, Kansas City and Baltimore all lost games in the fourth quarter or overtime; games they were leading most of the way.

Nope!

Not going to say a word on how the Saints and Jaguars refused to show up in clearly winnable games.

Nope. We are on to Week 6.

Atlanta Falcons (5-0) @ New Orleans Saints (1-4)

When I looked ahead to this match-up after the Saints played Dallas a few weeks ago I thought we had something here. But, watching these guys last week, it hard to imagine them keeping up with the Falcons offensively. The Falcons did struggle to put up points last week, but let’s face it, that Washington defence is strong against the run and aggressive (most times) against the pass. It will be close for a while, but Matt and the birds will pull it out in the end.

Falcons

Washington Redskins (2-3) @ New York Jets (3-1)

I expect Washington to show up this week. They have a good team that can win games in this league, but there are still some fundamental flaws. The Jets on the other hand come in rested and focused after a week off ... hopefully focused more on this week’s opponents than they will on next week’s opponent, the Patriots.

Redskins

Arizona Cardinals (4-1) @ Pittsburgh Steelers (3-2)

Pittsburgh can compete without ‘Big Ben’ but it depends heavily on the defence they are playing against. Cardinals are up next and the way their secondary is playing I don’t see Mike Vick being able to complete passes. The Steelers will be able to run the ball, but that team needs big plays or else they struggle. Cardinals

Kansas City Chiefs (1-4) @ Minnesota Vikings (2-2)

It was sad to see Jamal Charles go down last week. Even tougher to watch was that Chiefs offence without him. They looked lost and confused out there. Meanwhile, Adrian “Allday” Peterson is still out to prove he still has it. Vikings

Cincinnati Bengals (5-0) @ Buffalo Bills (3-2)

Rex Ryan is facing a quarterback that needs time to throw the ball. The Bills will blitz, they will send safeties, linebackers will find seams and get to Andy Dalton unblocked. Cincinnati did struggle for most of the game last week against the Seahawks but they found a way to fight back. The difference this week is that they will be on the road in Buffalo against the crowd noise.

Bengals

Chicago Bears (2-3) @ Detroit Lions (0-5)

The Bears won last week on the heels of a major injury for the other team. The Lions are angry and miserable and need someone to take that out on.

Lions

Denver Broncos (5-0) @ Cleveland Browns (2-3)

There is no better defence in the league right now; this Broncos unit is looking to make a statement every week they go out there.

Broncos

Houston Texans (1-4) @ Jacksonville Jaguars (1-4)

This is a game that Houston should win. They have more talent at each position.

Texans

Miami Dolphins (1-3) @ Tennessee Titans (1-3)

The Dolphins will come out strong under new coach Dan “Thor” Campbell, but like I said last week on The Press Box, if he isn’t padded up on the field making tackles this team has no hope.

Titans

Carolina Panthers (4-0) @ Seattle Seahawks (2-3)

Seattle almost knocked off an undefeated team last Sunday but blew that opportunity. This week, they have another in their house with the twelfth man in tow.

Seahawks

San Diego Chargers (2-3) @ Green Bay Packers (5-0)

A-Rod ... Lambeu Field. #Child Please #What we talking about. #I am talking in #’s because I intend to use this post on Twitter this weekend. The Packers are by far the better team and playing at home.

Packers

Baltimore Ravens (1-4) @ San Francisco 49ers (1-4)

I am still confused about how the Ravens lost last week and the Chargers are still confused over how they lost. This is utterly confusing.

49ers

New England Patriots (4-0) @ Indianapolis Colts (3-2)

So Tom Brady got suspended four games during the off-season for ‘Deflate-gate’. The Colts apparently alerted the league.

Patriots

New York Giants (3-2) @ Philadelphia Eagles (2-3)

I hate to admit it - Eli is looking top flight this year. This game is in Philadelphia ... Eagles are slowly climbing back into division contention. Both defences have issues; I trust the Giants coaching staff more, but the Eagles offence has more of an upside.

Eagles

Teams on Bye

Tampa Bay

Buccaneers (2-3)

St Louis Rams (2-3)

Dallas Cowboys(2-3)

Oakland Raiders (2-3)
