Three in hospital after drive-by shooting

THREE MEN are fighting for their lives after they were shot in a drive by shooting in Fox Hill late Thursday night.

The shooting happened shortly after 9pm outside a nightclub on Dorsette Street.

According to reports, the victims were standing outside the club, when a man armed with a handgun approached and fired several shots at the men before fleeing. 

The three men were rushed to hospital. Two of them are in serious but stable condition and the other man is listed as critical.

• In other crime news, a 19-year-old man is in police custody after he was caught in possession of a firearm and several rounds of ammunition.

Police say shortly after 4pm, a team of officers from the Flying Squad, acting on information, went to a building off Wulff Road, where they conducted a search of the suspect and found a 9mm pistol with 11 9mm rounds in his possession. He was arrested and taken into custody for questioning. Investigations continue.
