Who runs our streets? Is it the police or the criminals? I think Third Street should be renamed Dodge City Street, because that is what it has been like for the past two months.

Mr Greenslade, Commissioner of Police, would you please tell us if Frank and Jesse James are living on Third Street? I ask this question because, for the past month, we, the residents, have had to be ducking down in our homes, hoping that we do not get hit by a stray bullet. Two individuals Frank and Jesse James have come back from the dead and decided to discharge their weapons at Third Street, between the hours of 2:30 and 3:00am.

We can hardly get any sleep, for fear of being hit by a stray bullet. By the way it is claimed that Frank is the brother-in-law of a Reserve Police Officer, it is also claimed he has a son on the Defence Force and can get any gun he wants. He also claims that he has been declared insane by a Sandiland’s doctor or doctors and has a pink card to prove it. So he can kill five or more people and get away with it.

National Security Minister, the people of this area are asking you and the Commissioner of Police to please rid us of this nightmare.
