What the devil is going on in your country?? Why don't you offer $$ to some unemployed American combat veterans to come over and take out the criminals? Give them $1,000 per criminal taken to the police, and $2,000 for a dead criminal taken to the morgue.

The way that we go wrong, if anyone paying any attention, the politicians with in themselves are not professional police officer or with a back ground of security strategies may be that is needed, so how do we hold government in the pass FNM or PLP now the government in some thing they do not know how to do. Yes of coarse they make tougher laws and amend laws but we complain about how it not getting better and there's a very simple answer to the question both the FNM and the PLP are expecting the people in charge of this task are qualified to do the job but the simple answer is they are not!! Think about it for a second who is in charge of ultimately of keeping us safe? this is why no matter who is the government it will get worse because we as a nation has not address the unlined problem, which is the "Police Commissioner"! Of which everyday get praises for doing a bad job, if this commissioner was working any where else in the world he would of being fired from the first record high levels in murders, because he is the go to person for crime prevention period! So the out cry should be we need him gone, he is the denominator for both parties.

It's not the Commissioner's fault. Let's assume that he was a good Commissioner, to your standard. The government would have frustrated his every move, either he would have resigned or they would have removed him. Look no further than the BEC bribe issue, the Commissioner made a statement that it was "out of his hands" and with his deputy. What kind of statement is that? If you're the head, you may say one of my staff members is working on it and I'll review when he's complete, but you don't say I'm powerless to do anything, my deputy has the final say. If he were the best Commissioner in the world he would be ineffective in the current environment. What do you think the senior Social Service workers can do who now have to report to Lunch Lady Reckley? Same scenario. Look at Wendy Craig, my God. I feel sorry for her. I can imagine all the advice she gives to the PM that is completely ignored, she finally had to go public with her opinion on the ILLEGAL gaming and clueless PM puts on an act like he never heard her speak before.

O if dead men could only speak, How many of the 107 would be begging to have their innocent blood avenged. May the souls of the innocent rest in peace, amen.

Sad to say that at this current rate, some 42 more Bahamians will be murdered before December 31. Total count for 2015 : 149

Is this FOAM group and its leadership being targeted by the powers that be?????????

The "powers" here being the criminal elite and their political /law enforcement connections in the country

That is what many people are wondering ........................................ that is how it looks

Not enough people are seriously considering the gov't involvement with the criminal element. No one is considering that there may perhaps be powers orchestrating extra-judicial killings. How many active murderers murder while on bail? why for some criminals the justice system is just a revolving door, and for other criminals there is no justice but street justice at the hands of a next gunman?

I hear gunman claim they get hired by this and that MP to go do things. I don't know if they lying but when you step back and look at it, it certainly is believable.

crime problem can't done cus the gov't itself is populated by criminals and those who profit from criminal activity.
