A six-member team from the Abraham’s Bay High School out of Mayaguana are off to Grand Bahama to compete in the National High School Track and Field Championships.
The team, coached by Corporal 3127 Stubbs, is made up of Talberyt McPhee, Travis Williams, Ashwell Moss, Derick Allen, Gabriel McKinney and Andrea Black. Accompanying the team is Marissa Charlton and Yoshan Gibson, the acting principal.
The team is excited to make the trek to Grand Bahama as it will be the first island outside of New Providence that the athletes have visited.
