THE Royal Bahamas Defence Force apprehended 12 undocumented Cubans who were aboard a wooden sailing vessel in the central Exuma chain around noon Monday.
The 12 Cuban men were apprehended by Her Majesty’s Bahamian Ship P44, which was on routine patrol in the area at the time of the incident.
The Cubans were transported to the RBDF Coral Harbour Base where they were handed over to Department of Immigration officials Monday night for further processing.
