BAHAMAS national record holder in the 400 metre hurdles and World Championships bronze medallist Jeffery Gibson recently visited students of Queen’s College and St Anne’s School.
Jeffery shared his past experiences as both a student and athlete in high school, and how he had to balance both academics and athletics.
He then lectured about the impact athletics can have on your life as well as the importance of academics while pursuing an athletic venture.
After he gave remarks, students then surrounded the 2015 Pan Am Games gold medallist wanting to acquire autographs and pictures.
