A 23-year-old Freeport man was arrested after he was allegedly caught by police with a firearm in his possession.
Officers of Operation Turf Sweep were in the Garden Villas area around midnight on Friday when they stop searched a male resident of Frobisher Circle. They found a .9mm pistol, with one magazine containing seven .9mm rounds of ammunition.
The man was arrested and taken into custody. Investigations are continuing.
