One dead, one hurt by shots fired at Nassau home

ONE man was killed and another injured on Monday night as gunshots were fired at a home in Hillside Park, off Bernard Road.

Police reported that shortly after 10pm, several males were at the home when unknown attackers opened fire from outside.

One man, believed to be the son of John Pinder, the president of the Bahamas Public Services Union, died at the scene while another was transported to hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.

The shooting led to the 69th homicide of the year, according to The Tribune's records.
