POLICE are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man who reportedly drowned during a fishing trip in Long Island yesterday.
Police were told that shortly after 10am on Sunday, two men and a boy were on a fishing trip in an area known as Turnbull Beach, off Long Island, when one of the adults drowned.
The man was pronounced dead by the island’s local doctor. Police have not released his identity.
Investigations are continuing.
