Bahamas Darts Federation hosts Gold Cup

The New Providence team that competed in the Bahamas Darts Federation Gold Cup Championship.

ABACO, Grand Bahama, Eleuthera and New Providence provided plenty of excitment as the islands competed for the Bahamas Darts Federation Gold Cup championship.

Eleven people threw 180 scores, but the trophy for the most 180s scored went to Robin Albury, with four from Abaco. The low darts from the men division went to Dwight Miller, also of Abaco, with a 12-dart finish.

Liz Kemp from Nassau took the trophy for the women’s low finish with 17 darts.

The high dart finish was Jess Cook, from Abaco, with a closing 110 and Frisco, from Abaco, with a high finish of 156 from men.

•Division winners

Mixed triples: Robin Albury, Dwight Miller and Angela. Runners-up:  Harry Brown, Sky Bain, Sandra Ferguson (Nassau).

Mixed doubles:  Anderson Lewis and Julie Nicholls (Grand Bahama). Runners-up: Harry Bain/Sandra Ferguson (Nassau).

Women’s doubles:  Trudy Johnson/Liz Kemp (Nassau). Runners-up:  Jess Cook and Natisha Lowe (Abaco).

Men’s doubles: Harry Brown and Charles Bain (Nassau). Runners-up: Dwight Miller and Mark Albury (Abaco).

Women’s singles: Faith Sawyer (Abaco). Runner-up: Sandra Ferguson (Nassau).

Men’s singles: Robin Albury. Runner up: Dwight Miller (Abaco).

Female: Sandra Ferguson (Nassau)

Island MVP

Male:  Dwight Miller (Abaco), Denny Rankine (Eleuthera), Anderson Lewis (Grand Bahama), Sky Bain (Nassau)
