Action heats up in the City Bowling League

THE most valuable player in the City Bowling League competition last night was again Sonith Lockhart of Carib Construction with a 255 high game and an outstanding 671 three game set.

The runner-up was Lee Davis of Ten Back Strikers with a 602 second high set. Kelsey Rolle, also of Ten Back Strikers, downed the pins for a 227 second high game.   

The leader in the ladies’ category was Marina McClain of Carib Construction with a 212 high game and a 553 high three game set.

McClain was followed by Driskell Rolle of TK Falcons with a 210 second high game and a 543 second high set.

The team scores for the evening were: Bahamasair Flyers nipped the BEC Shockers 2-1; the TK Falcons held of the Duce City E&U Watercoolers 2-1; the Island Game Strokers took care of the Ten Back Strikers 2-1; the Giga Tech out lasted the Carib Construction 2-1; the Reach Crusaders stopped the Coca Cola Avengers 2-1; the Genuine Knights defeated the Checker’s Cafe 2-1 and the Fresh Blend Rolling Stones knocked of the Telco Enterprises 2-1.
