How far ahead do we plan?

EDITOR - The Tribune.

I see the series of ‘Outlook Seminars’ are starting their 2016 series….have to ask: for what betterment the speakers never are candid - dance around the subject matter and the politicians just make a farce of them so really I conclude a waste of a day and the attendance fee.

Budget - see the PLP is following the ridiculous mid-term budget, FNM idea, when the true and only budget statement is just a few weeks away in June.

Political spin on political spin for nothing.

Must admit back when years ago in the infancy of the Outlook Seminars when Michael Dingman made his address it was factual and truthful but he got chastised for being candid... I never attended another Outlook meeting.

National Development Plan, 2040 - I was shocked that the youthful Minister of Investment, past Chairman of the Chamber feels this Plan is worth something.

No country plans 30 years out not even the Chinese. Four-six possibly.

Editor, we can’t hold a government to 365 days of an annual budget so they want to hold us to 10,950 days? Joking hey?

The PLP - FNM or DNA understand the most simple economic fact of life for us – we simply have too many people looking for a job and worse still too many young people at that.

We need $200+ million a year for the next 40 years to cover the requirement to meet the labour/work shortage – impossible correct?
