Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Cyril Charles Lockhart, 29, of New Providence, who is wanted for questioning over an abduction and rape.
Lockhart is described as a dark brown male, medium build and about 5ft 7in in height.
Police said that Lockhart is considered to be armed and dangerous and advised the public not to approach him.
Instead, anyone seeing the suspect is urged to contact police immediately with any information.
Police also wished to remind members of the public that it is a criminal offence to harbour wanted people and anyone providing a safe haven for criminals will be prosecuted.
Anyone with information is urged to contact police anonymously on 919 or Crime Stoppers at 328-TIPS (8477) in New Providence or 1-242-300-8477 (Family Islands).
