POLICE are on the hunt for two men responsible for the armed robbery of a leading New Providence supermarket on Thursday night.
According to reports, shortly after 7.30pm, two men with handguns entered the Super Value supermarket on Mackey Street, where they held the employees at gunpoint and robbed the establishment of an undetermined amount of money before fleeing in a dark green Nissan.
No one was harmed during the robbery and investigations continue.
Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact police at 911 or 919, the Central Detective Unit at 502-9991 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 328-TIPS.
