AN American man from Missouri was arrested in connection with an alleged indecent assault of a woman on Saturday.
Police said that shortly after 9am, a woman visitor onboard a cruise ship moored at Prince George Wharf reported to police that she was indecently assaulted on the cruise ship by the suspect, who was a fellow passenger. The suspect was subsequently taken into custody.
Police also arrested an American woman from Ft Lauderdale for possession of dangerous drugs on Saturday.
Shortly after 6pm, officers from the Tourism Policing Unit conducted a search of a suspicious female visitor at Prince George Wharf and found a quantity of marijuana in her possession.
Investigations continue.
