51st State

EDITOR, The Tribune.

To the response to the federal agents coming into The Bahamas.

There’s something else that sparked some interest.

If things had went to a critical state in The Bahamas, the FMN and PLP can’t figure out of a good government. We would consider ourselves to be the 51’s state of the US. Sounds bizarre to people here, but think of a vantage if we were a part of the states.

First. Is the import costs being non-existent. Whatever the US gets its electronic releases, its starts off expensive, then drops the price as everyone purchases the products, it applies to all other products. But over here, it never drops at all. Which is an issue with poorly brought-out VAT and all of that. If we’re to join with them, it eliminates the import prices, tax will still exist but nothing else.

Second. Probably the improved security and the law as usual. Corruption in their nation may be advanced, but over here is more easy to uncover because it ain’t too advanced. Laws are going to be reinforced, our criminal gangsters aren’t going to around the streets for long and for more special units.

Third. More culture is being explored, I’m just seeing typical Bahamian business. Well. You could see more of it because of their vast demographics, Native Americans, Mexican Americans, Indians and others. There’s more professional chefs and restaurants from their land to eat, and shameful thing to say, their food is better prepared and tasty too.

But remember their issues and don’t overlook it. We’re going to be on point here if we’re to be with the largest set of people on the planet.

This may be a last-choice option for many people supporting The Bahamas, but it may be sooner then expected. Keep it in the government’s mind.
