I just did a poll in my office with 25 young voters. 72 per cent of them never even heard of Senator Lanisha Rolle. The other 28 per cent did not know the full story of what she said on the talk show or why. Frankly they could care less. I am convinced that a more scientific poll done with the voting masses would reveal similar numbers.

The press is having a field day and certain FNMs are in a frenzy, but here is some BREAKING NEWS: Contrary to popular belief, the average voter is not interested in “party” politics.

I am often reminded of that when I find myself unable to have a discussion with my colleagues at work because they are clueless about what is going on in the “political” world.

Frankly, they don’t give a flying fish! What they want to know is how is the FNM (or any other party) planning to help rid the country of crime, corruption and unemployment when they become the next government of The Bahamas.

And as far as ridding this country of crime, corruption and unemployment is concerned, support and vote for whomever you choose but “It is better to take refuge in the LORD Than to trust in man.” Psalm 118:8.
