BAHAMAS Lawn Tennis Association welcomes John Goede, an International Tennis Federation (ITF) development officer, to The Bahamas.

Goede was appointed developmental officer for the Caribbean in May, 2013. He has worked tirelessly on many projects for the ITF and has a wealth of experience and knowledge of tennis.

Goede has conducted many regional training camps in the Caribbean. Since 2014, John has held numerous tennis clinics in The Bahamas for children aged 10-16.

During this time he has met with parents to guide the direction of their children’s tennis path and he has also met with various executives to impart his knowledge on the sport of tennis. 

During his present visit, a meeting was held with the general secretary of the Bahamas Olympic Committee as they discussed various topics concerning tennis in The Bahamas with a focus on raising the level of coaching in The Bahamas.

Goede is also scheduled to meet with BLTA executives on  tennis development and junior tourneys.
