TWO men were arraigned in Magistrate’s Court yesterday for allegedly making death threats.
The accused men, 37-year-old Andrew Scott and 30-year-old Jevon Richardson Taylor, denied the charges yesterday.
The alleged threats were seen on a video that was circulated on social media last week.
The Crown alleges that between May 1 and June 1, the two men allegedly made death threats toward the police and defence forces. It is also alleged that the two men made death threats against Chinese nationals.
The men were not given bail and were placed on remand at the Department of Correctional Services until July 18.
