POLICE are seeking the public’s help in locating 35–year-old Tavares Roker of Daisy Lane, Garden Hills.

Officers believe that Mr Roker can help in an ongoing murder investigation.

He is described as a dark brown male of slim build who is about five feet eight inches to five feet ten inches in height. If he is seen, the public is asked not to approach him but to call police immediately at 911, 919, Crime Stoppers at 328-TIPS or 242-380-8477 in the Family Islands.

Police are also searching for the suspects responsible for two armed robberies that occurred on Tuesday March 1.

In the first incident, shortly after 10pm, a man armed with a handgun robbed a laundromat located on Charles Saunders Highway of a small amount of cash before fleeing on foot.

Then shortly after 11pm, a woman had just arrived home in her grey Honda Inspire car at Joan’s Heights, when a man armed with a handgun approached and robbed her of her vehicle before speeding off.

Investigations are ongoing.
