GRAND Bahamian Body Fitness champion Dekel Nesbitt has made the cut for the top 15 in her first appearance at the Arnold Classic yesterday in Columbus, Ohio.

However, she fell short of advancing to the top 10 and a spot in the final. There was a total of 21 competitors in her division.

“Just being able to make top 15 at my first Arnold Classic is a huge deal,” she said. “To me, to be able to hold my own against some amazing physiques and amazing personalities from all around the world is a prize in itself.”

Nesbitt, the Bahamas national champion and Central American and Caribbean Championships gold medallist, thanked everyone who sent their love and blessings and Nesbitt Rentals, Fitness Connection Bahamas and FOCOL for supporting her financially.

She also expressed her gratitude to her coach, Caudel McNab, her dad, her brother, family and friends for their support.
