POLICE are investigating a shooting that left a man in hospital.
Shortly after 9.30pm on Sunday, a man was standing in front of his Quakoo Street home when he was shot, police said. He was taken to hospital where he is said to be in stable condition.
Police also reported that a shotgun was turned in to police on Sunday.
An anonymous citizen turned over the weapon shortly after 10.30am to officers in southern New Providence.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have information that can lead to the seizure of illegal firearms and ammunition, or the arrest of those who breach the Firearms Act, to call police immediately.
