Apropos your story on the missing appendix.....
Rusty Bethel, OK Flour, the voice of ZNS and Advertising Manager for The Tribune told me that he went to see his doctor in Nassau with a searing pain on the lower right side of his abdomen.
His doctor immediately diagnosed appendicitis and told Rusty his appendix had to come out. Rusty somewhat flustered said, “But Doc, you took it out 10 years ago.”
To which the doctor after pausing replied: “Well damn it, man, then something else has to come out!”
