TWO brothers were charged with rape in the Freeport Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.
Alexander Lightfoot, 20, and Vinto Lightfoot, 27, of Eight Mile Rock, appeared before Magistrate Charlton Smith.
It is alleged that on March 12, at Eight Mile Rock, the men had unlawful sexual intercourse with an 18-year-old woman.
They were not required to enter a plea to the charge and the matter was adjourned to July 7 when preliminary inquiry will be held. Both were remanded to the Bahamas Department of Corrections.
