A teen was seriously injured in a traffic accident in Grand Bahama on Wednesday when the vehicle he was driving crashed into a utility pole.

Police said the 19-year-old was driving a two-door grey 2004 Chevy Malibu sometime around 11am on Queen’s Highway when the vehicle crashed into a wooden pole and he was ejected.

EMS personnel took the teenager to the Rand Memorial Hospital, where he is detained in serious condition.

Police are advising motorists to drive within the speed limit and to always wear their seatbelts.

Actually teen drivers are more in news due to these accidents. Why dont they are more careful while driving rather creating tribulation to others. There are so many rules are there that to forbid all these. Before giving a http://www.slideshare.net/europeanser...">permit to teens the authorities should do a triple check of the consequences that could affect the road user.
