Students get tennis lessons

OVER the past six weeks, Bradley Demeritte has hosted a tennis clinic for 31 sixth-grade students from the Gerald Cash Primary School at the Carmichael Community Centre.

The historic clinic ended on May 6 with a total of 500 students from grades two, four and six introduced to the basics of tennis.

The outstanding students were also invited to attend on-going classes on Saturday mornings at the Centre.

Demeritte was assisted in the clinic by Denise Reckley-Foster, of the Physical Education Department at Gerald Cash Primary; Levan Hinsey, the Director of Activities; and Clayton Fernander, Director of Administration at the Carmichael Community Centre.
