POLICE have reported that they have made two drug seizures overnight in New Providence and arrested five men in connection with the finds.
Around 9pm on Wednesday, Drug Enforcement Unit officers with assistance from the K9 Unit executed a search warrant at a home on Thompson Lane, where they uncovered three pounds of marijuana. Four men were taken into custody in connection with the discovery.
Shortly before 2am on Thursday, Central Division officers on patrol in the Nassau Street area saw a man acting suspiciously. The officers conducted a search of the suspect and found 24 small packages of marijuana in his possession. The suspect was taken into custody.
