Hunt for men who stole car

POLICE are on the hunt for two men who robbed a man of his vehicle early on Friday morning.

According to reports, shortly after 1am, a man was sitting in his black Honda Inspire in front of his home on Johnson Terrace, Fox Hill, when two men with a handgun approached and robbed him of his car before speeding off.

Police in Andros arrested two men and woman in connection with the seizure of a firearm and several rounds of ammunition early on Thursday morning.

According to reports, around 3.30am, police in Andros executed a search warrant at a home in Calabash Bay, where they uncovered a 9mm pistol with seven rounds of ammunition.

The three suspects were subsequently arrested and transported to New Providence.

Police in Eleuthera also conducted an island- wide anti-crime operation on Thursday that targeted people involved in criminal activities, wanted for outstanding court warrants and drivers operating in breach of the road traffic laws.

During the operation two males, one in Tarpum Bay and another in Rock Sound, were arrested for possession of dangerous drugs. Additionally, 57 drivers were cited for various traffic violations.
