POLICE arrested a man in Andros after finding him with a quantity of marijuana on Sunday.
According to police reports, shortly after 6.30pm officers in Andros, acting on information, went to the residence of an adult male located at Red Bays, where they conducted a search of a Chevy vehicle and found one pound of marijuana.
The man was taken into custody and is expected to appear in court in New Providence today to be formally charged.
Police also reported that a man was arrested on Monday for possession of a stolen vehicle.
Shortly after 6.30pm, officers from the Southwestern Division, on routine patrol in the area of the Southwest Plaza on Carmichael Road, arrested the adult male after finding him driving a Kia Sportage that was recently reported stolen.
Investigations continue.
