POLICE are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man who was found dead in waters off Harbour Island on Saturday afternoon.
Shortly after 2pm, acting on a report, officers and Emergency Medical Services personnel went to the scene where they discovered the submerged body of an adult.
The body was removed from the water and taken to shore, where the man was pronounced dead by the island’s doctor. An autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death.
