BOWLING LEAGUE

TOP scorer in Financial Bowling League competition last night was Alcondo Hepburn of the Moonlight Strikers with a 233 high game and a 593 high three game set.

The runner-up was Sean Longley of Leno Corporate Services with a 217 second high game and a 575 second high set.

The MVP for the ladies was Betsy Taylor of the Best Deal Kirki Bar with an impressive 589 high three game set. Joy Lockhart of the BTC Night Hawks followed with a 227 high game and a 522 second high set. Tara Culmer of Forsythe Communications toppled the pins for the second high game of 205. 

In team scores of the evening: Forysthe Communications def. Rubis Oil 2-1; Leno Corporate Services def. Deloitte & Touche 2-1; Strike Force def. Moonlight Strikers 2-1 and Best Deal Kirki Bar def. BTC Night Hawks 2-1.

RUGBY

2pm Saturday at the Winton Rugby Pitch, the Cuckoos Rugby Club’s 20th anniversary match will take place. The Cuckoos are also celebrating their triumph as the Bahamas Rugby Union’s Heineken Cup champions. The BRU also released the schedule of games its national team.
