Calvary Deliverance hosts fifth annual appreciation services

The congregants of Calvary Deliverance on East Street South are celebrating the church’s fifth pastoral anniversary under the theme “My Season is Not Finished Yet”, deduced from Philippians 1:6.

The ministry will pay tribute to Bishop-elect James Newry and Elder Queenie Newry their service and commitment to proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ.

“Their passion for outreach and love for people has demonstrated the call of God to go into the entire world and compel men to come. Many lives are being touched and steadily enriched as souls are saved and nurtured to be disciples for the advancement of the Kingdom of God,” the church said.

“As a ministry, Calvary Deliverance Church continues to be a beacon of hope in the community as a church focused on impacting generations for a brighter, stronger and spiritually filled future.”

The celebrations are set for tomorrow, starting at 7pm, and Sunday at 8am and 10.30am. Speakers for this occasion will include: Apostle Clement Saunders of Kingdom Come Ministries, Apostle Phalmon Ferguson of United Faith Ministries, and Apostle Colamae Collymore of Bahamas Faith Ministries. There will be special musical selections by guest psalmists Latasha Taylor and Anna Calixte, along with Calvary’s very own praise team, the Sanctuary Choir, the Anointed Angels, the Saints in Praise and the Fine Arts Ministry.

“In a time when anxiety and distress prevail throughout the land and hope seems to have deserted the minds of the people, it is with great expectation that during these services you will be reminded that ‘Your Season is Not Finished Yet’ as you are awakened in spirit and purpose to carry out His full plan for your life to the day of completion,” the church said.
