A lackluster third quarter featured just nine combined points from both teams. The Aces took a 35-21 lead headed into the fourth before Lowe took over the game on both ends of the floor to get his team back into the game.

He took three straight steals in the backcourt and sparked a 9-0 run for the Mystic Marlins. He successfully converted a three-point play to make the score 37-32 with just under five minutes left to play. The Aces got back-to-back scores from Nixon and Miller to stop the run. Freemantle made a pair of throws as his team regained a 10-point lead to seemingly put the game away.
