CAT ISLAND REGATTA

PROMOTIONS

THE Cat Island Sailing Club Association will celebrate its fourth annual “Promote Cat Island Regatta Month” during the month of February.

“Our First Promote Cat Island Regatta Month was launched in 2014 and it was very successful.  This year will be our 61st Annual Regatta. And we are honouring Ezekiel Taylor,” according to president Pat Strachan.

“The purpose of this promotion is to update and inform the public on what we’ve accomplished.  And to raise the level of visibility of our club. During the last three years, we’ve made large strides and we believe it’s important that we communicate that to the public.”

This year’s annual regatta will take place in New Bight, Cat Island, August 4-7. “I’m proud of and appreciative to Ezekiel Taylor for the many, many contributions he has made to the regatta and the Association,” Strachan said.
