YASMIN Hanna describes her new book as a powerful tool that seeks to encourage, inspire and motivate young women to be who God has called them to be.

The first-time author said "Daughters of The King" has eight chapters and each addresses a specific topic, including issues like self-esteem, goal achievements, faith, perseverance, determination and etiquette. Moreover, throughout the pages, she is certain, readers will find the courage, strength and faith to move mountains.

"I kept this vision and dream in my heart for many years to write a book titled 'Daughters of The King' for young females, especially teenagers. It wasn't until 2016 that I truly acknowledged the necessity for completing this book after I became a youth director at a church. I was able to speak to so many young females at churches and schools about what they encountered on a daily basis and I have a mandate to let young females know that they have a purpose to let their light shine, and they are courageous and so much more. I had to fulfill this assignment of completing this book that God had given me for His honour and glory," Yasmin told Tribune Woman.

Although it was a long-time dream of her, the actual experience of publishing a book was nevertheless a surreal one.

"This book is a testament of the great things that can happen when you put your total dependence and trust in God. I am so grateful to God for His help in every step of this process. On a daily basis, I see so much hidden royalty in young ladies that needs to be revealed. I wanted to create a tool to do my part in reversing that process of suppression so that our young ladies can allow the hidden royalty within them to come out and be revealed. As a result, this would cause a rippling and dynamic effect of amazing young leaders, students and believers to emerge," said Yasmin.

She is excited to launch and host a book-signing event this Saturday at The Bible Book and Gift Centre located in the Palmdale Shopping Plaza, from 12pm to 3pm. Copies of the book will be on sale for $10.

"I want every young lady that reads this book to know that they are truly daughters of the King. I believe that if a person is truly able to conceptualise who they are in Christ, they can begin to live the life God wants them to live. I want young ladies to know that they don't have to settle or sell themselves short, but that they can accomplish whatever they put their minds to. This book talks about the things I was able to achieve through God's help, and I want every young lady to know that they can accomplish the same things that I have, and even greater, because God wants to give them the best," said Yasmin.

"Daughters of The King" is also available for purchase via Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
