A MALE tourist died following a snorkelling incident on Tuesday, police said.
Shortly after 3pm, a male visitor was snorkeling in waters off Rose Island, when he lost consciousness.
The victim was taken to shore where he was given first aid assistance and transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
An autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death.
