JUSTIN Roberts helped the University of South Florida Bulldogs clinch a 5-2 victory over Tulane Waves yesterday in Tampa, Florida to wrap up the American Athletic Conference title.
Roberts, in his junior year, won in straight sets of 7-6 (6), 6-4. He joined Sasha Gozun, who won 6-2, 7-6 (7-4) over Constantin Schmitz; Peter Bertran, who pulled of a 6-3, 6-2 win over Luis Erlenbusch and Vaydm Kalyuzhnyy, a 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 winner over Tyler Schick.
Roberts also teamed up with Peter Bertran for a 6-4 decision in doubles over Sebastian Rey and Tim Ruetzel.
The Bulls will travel to Orlando for the War on I-4 match against UCF 6pm Saturday.
