CITY BOWLING

LEAGUE

Lasheik Major of the Carib Construction won the most valuable player (MVP) award during the City Bowling League on Monday at Mario's Bowling and Family Entertainment Center.

Major had a 634 high three game set to beat out runner-up Ritchie Pyfrom of Giga Tech with a 628 second high set. The high game was a 241 from Mario Brown of Ten Back Strikers followed by a 237 from Kevin B Williams of CDM Knights.

Driskell Rolle of Asurewin Pocket Pleasers was the leader in the ladies division with a 235 high game and an outstanding 604 high three game set. Tara Culmer of the Island Game Strokers followed with a 224 second high game and an impressive 580 second high set.

The team scores for the evening were as follows:

RIDE FOR HOPE

POSTPONED

Due to circumstances beyond their control, the organisers have changed the date of the 2018 Ride for Hope, pushing it back one week to March 10, 2018.

"We are so looking forward to the 2018 event and welcoming all of you back to Eleuthera," the organisers announced.

Registration is open. Everyone who registers before December 1, 2017 will receive a special RFH early bird gift.

"If you have already registered you will receive a direct email confirming you are still able to join us and if not, a full refund will be given," the organisers confirmed.

CSA BASKETBALL

ACADEMY

THE 8th annual CSA Basketball Academy 2K17 Fall Seminar is currently underway at the Anatol Rodgers Gymnasium on Faith Avenue South.

The camp, which will provide training, games and fun for all participants, got started on Saturday, September 23 and will run through Saturday, December 9.

Coach Marvin Henfield is conducting the 12 weeks of basketball skills development. It's opened to competitors between the ages of five and 12 and 13-19.
