An efficient solution

EDITOR, The Tribune.

Can we reduce our use of electricity by simply throwing out our high BTU equipment and buy the more efficient?

The Chamber of Commerce proposal but has one enormous miscalculation or redundancy - can Joe Public afford the more efficient appliances as they usually cost a lot more?

We build homes with low ceiling heights and without taking advantage of God’s breezes so Ale is needed even in Mama’s shack.

The solution is and has been biting us if only incumbent Governments will research as the Christie government should have from 2012 opportunity after opportunity - proposal after proposal which would have saved us Joe Consumer millions in the gouging fuel surcharge.

However, Chair of BP&L holds her mouth there is no possibility short term of BP&L reducing appreciably our electricity costs – they can tender here and there as we see but reality is all they are doing is basically small housekeeping improvements. Reality.

We have to bite the bullet ... and cause a smile on every consumers’s face.
