Baha Mar U-turn

EDITOR, The Tribune.

WOW! What a change of tune and commentary, on the FNM position on Baha Mar - but then every moment seems to be a changing moment these days.

One day policy firmly heading north, then south and by the end of the day east and west!

Truth told whether anyone actually does wish to give credit, Rt Hon Perry Christie really pulled off a coup, and whether we voted to kick him out, he has to get the credit. Baha Mar is open and employing “000”s - more to come when Rosewood opens and it could just save our financial butts. Give the credit, Prime Minister Minnis.

Unfortunately for the Minnis Government, they inherited what the Christie Government did, when it comes to detail –- yes, many feel there should have been more clarity, as to who eventually got the Casino License at Baha Mar! There are some extremely serious questions, floating out there which should be cleared up.

Can the good Minister of Tourism - Wow never ever thought I would hear you talk, with such superlatives about Baha Mar, since the Liquidation...but you are honest. Yes it is fantastic the resort is open. Could you release as much as might be permitted, as to the process under the Gaming Act, as to Chow Tai Fook Enterprises application for a Casino License.

Why leave a shadow cloud over the issue? The FNM stands for transparency.

Awaiting….
