Pins heat up in City Bowling League

THE most valuable player (MVP) in the City Bowling League competition Monday night was Sonith Lockhart of the Carib Construction with a 628 high three game set.

Lasheik Major, also of Carib Construction, was the runner-up with a 601 second high set. Ritchie Pyfrom of Giga Tech led in the high game department with 241 followed by Errol Morley with 238 second high game.

Janice Hoyte of the Ten Back Strikers was the leader in the ladies’ category with a 593 high three game set. Camille Burnside of Telco Enterprises followed with a 210 second high game and a 578 second high set. Angie Smith of NUA Crusaders downed the pins for a super high game of 252.

The team scores for the evening were as follows:

Carib Construction 3, A Sure Win Pocket Pleasers 0; Clayton Gardiner & Associates 2, City Leaguers 1; Brooklyn Strikers 2, The Avengers 1; E&U Watercoolers 2, Bahamasair Flyers 1; Telco Enterprises 2, BEC Shockers 1; Island Game Strokers 2, Checker’s Café 1 and Ten Back Strikers 2, NUA Crusaders 1.
