There is no limit to what God, the Great I Am, can do

by Yasmin Hanna

God is omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent, for He is truly all-powerful, ever-present and knows everything. He is able to make rivers flow in deserts, shut the mouths of lions, part seas and move mountains. Never underestimate an all-knowing and ever present God. He is limitless and incomparable. He is the Great I AM. He is your vindicator and protector. He makes the impossible possible, and every obstacle He makes a stepping-stone. He is a miracle worker and you must always have faith to know that he will make a way for you. Everything is under God's command. "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End," says the Lord, "who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty." (Revelation 1:8 NKJV)

God is everything you need and more, and He is able to increase every area in your life exponentially. Do not limit God by just thinking addition, but instead think of multiplication. He is able to accelerate, elevate and rapidly change things for you. If you are facing a challenge that looks like a giant, it might appear as if the chaos would never come to an end. Sometimes, it might even seem easier to throw in the towel and take the route that seems easier because faith requires going beyond what you perceive. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. (Hebrews 11:1-3 NKJV)

Even if your faith at this moment is as small as a mustard seed, all things are still possible because you believe. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV) Even when you are not able to see the entire spectrum, trust God and know that everything will work out for your good.

There is no limit to what God can do. "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways," says the Lord. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts." (Isaiah 55:8-9 NKJV) God's way of thinking and doing things far exceeds what can ever be fathomed. He does things in such a way that you know it was only God who did it.

In every season of your life, God is always there, for He is your way-maker, mountain mover, provider, protector, deliverer, keeper, healer, and a shelter from the storm. Indeed, He is the great I AM. Moses said to God, "Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, 'The God of your fathers has sent me to you,' and they say to me, 'What is His name?' what shall I say to them?" And God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM." And He said, "Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, 'I AM has sent me to you." (Exodus 3:13-14 NKJV)
