UNDER the theme "Divine Acceleration", members of True Vine Prayer and Deliverance Ministries will host their eighth annual prophetic prayer breakfast next Saturday.

The event, set to take place at the Paul Farquharson Conference Centre, East Street, will begin at 8am. Among the guest speakers will be intercessors Minister Katherine Hamilton and Minister Patricia Johnson-Pratt; Psalmist Minister Tamika Taylor, and Pastor Deneace Lloyd as service leader.

"This year's event will focus specifically on the prophetic, and I am amazed to see how the event has grown over the years from the very first breakfast held in 2011 that hosted 40 attendees. It is indeed a blessed feeling to know that persons from all walks of life can come together to be empowered and leave being fulfilled and uplifted," Pastor Lloyd told Tribune Religion.

What started as a prayer breakfast for only women, evolved over time. Pastor Lloyd said guests over the years have been truly inspired and blessed to take part.

"I am elated to say this event has now in the last three years been open to both men and women. People look forward to attending every year, and they would even inquire on the date in advance. Apart from the spiritual aspect of the event, people also enjoy the delicious stew fish, stew conch and more prepared by our wonderful chefs, Martin Culmer and Norkisha Bethel. This motivates me to continue," said Pastor Lloyd.

Founded in 2010 by Pastors Ronald and Deneace Lloyd, the True Vine Prayer and Deliverance Ministries, located in the Plaza Del Sol, Prince Charles Drive, built its foundation on prayer, and its mandate on reaching the lost, downtrodden and rejected people. The church's mission is to "reap the end-time harvest for the Kingdom of God."

"We believe many people in the Body of Christ have become despondent, discouraged and impatient while they wait for the manifestation of the promises of God in their lives. Hence this prayer breakfast event is designed to empower them, uplift them, and encourage them not to give up on God. The words the Lord has given our ministry for 2018 is that this is the year of restoration, release and acceleration. We know God will divinely accelerate what seems to have been stagnated in the lives of His people, and we are expecting an explosive time in the Lord next Saturday," said Pastor Lloyd.

She believes the presence of God has been evident at every prayer breakfast held over the years, and this year will be no different.

"The overall goal of the event is to see miracles, signs and wonders take place, and persons blessed and empowered to soar into their season of acceleration to witness the many testimonies that will come forth as a result of it," said Pastor Lloyd.
