'Spring Revival' comes to Calvary Deliverance Church

Recognising a need for overall spiritual renewal in the country, the leadership of Calvary Deliverance Church announced it is celebrating its 'Spring Revival' starting May 1.

The two-night event will be a time of prayer and fasting. The theme is, "The Year of New Beginnings, Revelation, Declaration and Restoration - the Year to Live and Not Die!"

"Revivals are planned for the advancement of the kingdom. These two nights are intended to heightened individuals' awareness in acknowledging there is a God in heaven, that the Bible is His word, that the promises of God are yea and amen in Christ. This revival will shake, break, melt, mould, and cause the power of God to flow over into the hearts of people. The CDC family declares that God will give us that kind of victory the minute we make room for it," said church leaders.

Bishop-elect James Newry and Elder Queenie Newry, the husband and wife leadership team, invite all interested Bahamians to visit the Calvary Deliverance Church, located at 511 East Street South, and tbe engulfed in two nights of "fire burning, anointing and Holy Ghost-filled explosive services."

"Prepare to be enriched as the presence of God enflames your soul. It's time to claim what God has promised you in this year of new beginnings. So come and allow God to reveal, declare and restore all that He has birthed in you," they said.

The speaker for this revival will be Bishop Cardinal McIntosh of Freeport, Grand Bahama.
