For whatever reason does tourism think the Bahama American Football Bowl is an event that should be expensively sponsored? We have to demand that after this year there will be a public disclosure of the audience - attendees at Thomas Robinson Stadium - cost to Tourism - hotel revenue/spend?
You can change time of the day it will not make an appreciable affect on attendance…to fill one side of the stadium you need over 6000 people for the full stadium 15,000…you will not get it for this event.ESPN can spin all they want - this is a no-show Show!
As numerous times it has been said the only sports event that makes money is the Atlantis Collegiate Basketball event.
Why does tourism think this American Football event is a worthwhile event on which to spend our scarce money?

I think the idea was good and the potential is there, but I agree, we need to now see the numbers as this may very well be a losing proposition in direct spend. Hopefully, with the 'free' advertising, it works out in our favor. We need to know.

Has there ever been a public accounting for these sports events???? ....... are they mostly sponsored by Treasury money??? ........ or are they PPP????
