JORDAN Prince William Falcons and St Augustine’s College Big Red Machine each placed multiple teams in the BAISS Championship final and each had two teams win yesterday as the series tipped off in the four divisions.
In Junior Girls’ play, the Big Red Machine scored a 33-21 win over the top seeded Falcons.
The same two teams matched up in the Senior Girls division and the Falcons got the 42-24 win. In Junior Boys’ play, the Falcons scored the most lopsided win of the day with a 55-30 win over the Temple Christian Suns.
The Senior Boys closed out the night with the Big Red Machine pulling off the upset with a 71-67 win over the Falcons.
Game two in each series continues 4pm today at the Kendal Isaacs Gymnasium.
