CORRECTION
IT was incorrectly stated on Monday that Steven Gardiner was just shy of his meet record in the men's 300 metres on Friday at the Birmingham Crossplex Arena in Birmingham, Alabama. Gardiner did in fact surpass the record of 33.45 seconds when he clocked 32.51 to win the race. The Tribune apologises for the error.

IT was incorrectly stated that the CARIFTA hopefuls shine at the Road Runners Track Invite. It was actually the T-Bird Flyers Invite. The Road Runners Track Meet is scheduled for this Saturday.
